The IDF and police are investigating a suspected arson attack on Palestinian homes in the West Bank village of Tuba. Several people were reportedly injured, and suspects fled the scene.

Yinon Eliya Levi, 33, killed Palestinian activist Awdah Hathaleen during a confrontation in the South Hebron Hills village of Umm al-Khair last July.

Protesters chanted “Israel out of Palestine, long live the intifada,” "From the river to the sea, Palestine is almost free," and "Netanyahu, you will see, Palestine will be free." 

Palestinian Christian leaders told CNN that US Christian Zionists ignore their experiences and fund West Bank settlements, while Mike Huckabee defended evangelical support for Israel.

Katz said the appointment process for IDF Manpower Directorate head Maj.-Gen. Dado Bar Khalifa to Central Command commander had already been underway for months.

According to the IDF, Katz’s statement was not coordinated with IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir. The military stated that Zamir does not intend to remove Bluth from his position at this time.

According to Army Radio, IDF troops and police were dispatched to the area shortly after the attack to investigate the incident and search for suspects.
