High Court rules Justice Minister Yariv Levin must convene Judicial Selection Committee

The ruling was issued after the Minister of Justice refused to convene the committee for about a year and a half due to the lack of a broad consensus regarding the selection of candidates.

Attorney-General Gali Baharav-Miara concluded that Justice Minister Yariv Levin's attempt to file a disciplinary complaint against Chief Justice Isaac Amit "lacks legal validity."
