The current government's most important achievement has been the return of a sense of normalcy to the government ministries, say Yisrael Beytenu MK Yossi Shain and Yesh Atid MK Moshe Tur Paz.

It isn’t too late to give a real chance to Arab-Jewish partnership, to reach out to the Arab community and bring an agenda of partnership to the forefront of Israeli politics as well. 

Over half of the Jewish Israeli public stated that the partnership with Arab party Ra'am harmed Jewish society and Israeli society in general.

There are 146,000 eligible Bedouin voters, enough to swing a national election in Israel’s razor-thin coalition math, depending on voter turnout.

The 591 attendees at the Ra'am conference only chose their first four candidates. The number one, two and four spots were not challenged and were merely reaffirmed by the assembly.

The post came as Joint List politicians joined protests in a number of locations across the country against the operation.  

The event was held at Ramat Hasharon's Yad Labanim Hall, which serves as a cultural center and includes a monument for IDF soldiers from the city who were killed in action.

Low voter turnout, combined with declarations that the Arab public has no place among Israel’s decision-makers, is liable to create a fertile political climate for populist and racist legislation.

Once again, the campaign will revolve around Benjamin Netanyahu’s ability to lead the country
