At least two men were killed, and one was wounded after two cars exploded in Jaffa and Holon on Sunday morning, Israel Police said.

During the operation, officers located an apartment suspected of being used for drug cultivation. A search of the premises led to the seizure of cannabis with a total weight of about seven kilograms.

The complaint alleges the caregiver "shouted and cursed at the toddlers, and in some cases even ignored their crying and needs while they were in her care."

The deletion took place sometime during January 2024, and it is unknown who removed the files and whether copies of them still exist.

The officer was released without restrictions. The investigation was initiated last week, as several videos were circulated around social media showing the assaults.

State Attorney Amit Aisman warned that the Mahash reform under the Justice Ministry could expose sensitive investigations to political pressure. The law passed Knesset and faces High Court petition.

Advanced-Staff-Sergeant Major Ariel Morzhanov, who handled terrorist negotiations on October 7, arrived at the scene to manage dialogue and de-escalate the situation.
