Iraq condemned recent drone attacks on Saudi Arabia, vowed cooperation in the investigation, and moved to distance Iranian-backed militias amid growing US pressure.

Earlier today, the IDF intercepted a "suspicious aerial target" launched at an IDF position in southern Lebanon, and no sirens sounded, as is protocol.

While the UN expert asserted that although there has never been an incident of nuclear terrorism, he noted that terror groups such as Al-Qaeda have openly expressed their intent toward it.

Iran targeted numerous countries in the region, including the UAE, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and Iraq.

The attack follows a drone attack in the area of Abu Dhabi’s Barakah nuclear plant on Sunday. The two attacks could be connected, although it is too early to tell.

Negotiations detached from the realities on the ground do not end terrorism. Rather, they create space for the terrorists to adapt, regroup, and strike again.

Netanyahu told the cabinet that the IDF and Defense Ministry had done “a great deal over the years,” thwarting “many hundreds, if not thousands, including UAVs."

The UAE's Foreign Ministry later said that the incident was a "terrorist attack" that "constitutes a "dangerous escalation, an unacceptable act of aggression, and a direct threat."

Currently, the IDF is taking various measures against it, including deploying anti-explosive drone barbed wire, which it has also supplied to the Lebanese army, to minimize attacks.
