In four weeks of conflict, Iran has launched thousands of rockets and drones at the Gulf states, the UAE being the one targeted the most.

Missile interceptions and falling debris are striking cities across Jordan, forcing the kingdom deeper into a conflict it sought to avoid.

"If the enemy attacks fuel and energy infrastructure, all energy, information technology, and desalination infrastructure belonging to the US and the regime in the region will be targeted," Iran said.

Turkey, which has NATO's second-largest army and neigbhbours Iran, said last week the alliance had deployed a Patriot system to its southeastern Malatya province, near a NATO radar base.
