The British Home Office justified the move by declaring Uyger as a “serious risk to the public order," according to an X post made by the Young Turks founder.

According to police, the allegations were believed to relate to Iran and to the targeting of a British-based journalist at Iran International, which is critical of Tehran's government.

It is expected to be completed and open to the public by summer, before becoming in September a “living-history learning space for school groups."

One of the pilots described the matter to the Times as a rare incident that he hadn’t experienced “in a long time.”
