Artist Merav Shaked's Embroidering Psalms project continues to strengthen connections between Jewish communities in Israel and the United States.
During a recent visit to Chicago and Miami, Shaked presented the initiative through lectures, gallery talks, video art, and embroidery workshops.
The project brings together 154 women from across Israeli society, each of whom embroidered a chapter from the Book of Psalms in her own artistic style, creating a collective work centered on faith, memory, pain, and hope.
The initiative has since expanded into both an exhibition and an art book designed by Green Man Studio, with an English-language edition recently released.
Participants described the experience as an opportunity to encounter another side of Israel through art, tradition, and unity. Additional events are planned in Jewish communities across the United States.

Pixar takes over Dizengoff Center this summer
To celebrate the release of Toy Story 5 and the 20th anniversary of Cars, Dizengoff Center and Disney are hosting "Pixar at the Center" from July 21 through August 21.
The free event features interactive photo installations, an official pop-up store, custom T-shirt printing, activity passports with prizes, children's workshops, free Pixar movie screenings three times a week, and themed food stands on non-screening days.
Activities take place throughout Dizengoff Center in Tel Aviv, Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Midbarium, the desert wildlife park in Beersheba, has introduced two new attractions for the summer season: A Ninja Extreme obstacle course in partnership with Ninja Negev and water play areas with inflatable attractions and splash zones.
Alongside the park's animals and interactive exhibits, visitors can enjoy sports and adventure activities in shaded areas.
The Ninja course is operated by Ninja Negev's coaching team, while the water attractions are designed for children aged four and older.

BBB launches Young Chef workshops
BBB is introducing Young Chef workshops throughout August in partnership with children's brand Cramel.
Designed for children aged 4 to 10, the workshops include preparing hamburgers, decorating a Cramel-inspired chocolate cake, and enjoying the finished meal with fries and a soft drink.
Each participant receives a chef's kit with an apron and hat, a Young Chef certificate, and a Cramel-themed gift.
Special workshops adapted for children with celiac disease will also be offered.
The workshops will be held at BBB branches nationwide throughout August.
