Handsome, tall, doesn’t require much attention and still – sucked everything out of me. Meaning, from my cute studio apartment in Herzliya, which admittedly houses one human without pets, of any kind – animals and babies alike. I truly got lost in the sea of options that the vacuum cleaner category has to offer – the models, the advanced versions, with mop–without mop, at astronomical prices and also those at fairly reasonable prices that made me wonder – why the hell are they relatively accessible compared to competitors on the market? Which in other words left me, with a broom, squeegee and rag in hand – until further notice.

So after we had already seen and heard about all the tricks and gimmicks in the field, a new guy came to the neighborhood, officially imported by Miniline – the JONR vacuum cleaner brand. Cleaning fanatics, this is exactly the moment for you to get used to the name, since it is a line of cordless vacuum-mops that in recent years has managed to conquer leading markets internationally, thanks to its technological capabilities as well as its convenient and smart user experience.

When I took the flagship vacuum in the series – ED12 Pro Max out of the box, an exciting unboxing by all accounts, I was surprised to discover that the number of parts inside was minimal – for me, the fewer headaches the better. Overall, this is an advanced cordless vacuum-mop, with a suction power of 17000Pa – I have no idea what that means, but in practice it sucked up my central living room rug at a more than satisfactory level by any opinion. Regarding the cleaning results, it can be declared here loud and clear that the results speak for themselves. Thorough cleaning at every level of dirt – dry and wet alike. To challenge it even a bit more, I let the heatwave and the sand that flew around here settle nicely on a small part of the apartment (not that I had a choice), so that I could put the device to a real test. Without the need for dog, cat and other creature fur, pure dust. And what dust. It worked.

Beyond being seriously good-looking in a luxurious titanium finish, as mentioned it is also smart to the point of offering voice assistance in various languages chosen by the user, including Hebrew. At the same time, I preferred to put it on mute, because the combination of the voice-over alongside the noise of the vacuum itself managed to give me unwanted jolts in my brain at brief moments – especially while I was still concentrating on the learning stage of the device. In any case, I can say that the operating instructions were quick and simple, immediately after assembly that did not require much concentration from me. Completely basic connections.

The flagship vacuum in the series promises to reach “all the way to the edge of the baseboards for cleaning in every corner”, among other things thanks to a 180-degree reclining suction mode for easy and convenient cleaning even under any piece of furniture in the house. An excellent feature that definitely adds a few credit points to the new model, although the promise of “every corner” will not necessarily manage to fulfill itself with low furniture under which the vacuum head does not enter in the first place – not even in reclining mode.

The transition between vacuuming and washing occurs at the press of a button, whose activation will display for you on a large and clear LED display the action the device is currently performing – Vacuuming/Vacuuming and washing/Vacuuming and washing at maximum level. That same display also shows you the battery percentage – This is the time to say that this is generally also the device’s most noticeable drawback. At its base it offers up to 35 minutes of continuous operation – which I am quite sure it will also deliver, but fairly early in use with a full 100% battery – within just a few minutes the percentages drop and drop quickly. If you were wondering, I did not reach the limit of its capacity and did not put it to that test, as mentioned the apartment is too minimalist to contain that much scrubbing.

The charging process is easy when placing the device back on its home base. There, the self-cleaning system is also ready to faithfully do its job – with hot water at 75 degrees and hot air in just 5 minutes for thorough sterilization and odor prevention. Basically, it cleans itself, all that is required at the end of the operation is to remove the dirty water tank, pour it out and rinse lightly (or thoroughly if you do not do so after every use). Speaking of water, filling the clean water is simple and carried out in a marked place (there is no way to get confused) and together with the device also comes a small bottle of soap adapted for floor cleaning. Even if it runs out at some stage – it can be combined with any floor liquid from any other company that is adapted to devices of this type.

All this goodness can be found under the brand’s series sold starting at NIS 1,690. In the first stage, three models of upright cordless vacuum-mops are being launched in Israel and later the company is expected to expand the offering with the launch of two robotic vacuum-mop models, as part of deepening the brand’s activity in Israel. The new vacuum-mops are intended for thorough daily cleaning of dry and wet dirt, and offer a variety of advanced capabilities, including a dedicated solution for homes where pets live.
