Iranians unite against the regime, growing protests signal the possibility for change, yet the world remains hesitant to act.

As protests in Iran escalate, Kurdish opposition groups, including PDKI, PAK, and PJAK, call for regime change, despite ongoing violence and a deadly crackdown on demonstrators.

"We may need to act before a meeting with them… we are in the process of coordinating a meeting,” the president told reporters aboard Air Force One.

The event was interrupted by a group of several dozen haredi extremists associated with the Jerusalem faction, who tried to break into the compound where the event was being held.

Sources estimate the number of people killed or injured in the thousands, including children and young demonstrators, while many others were arrested.

The "martyrs" refer to the authority personnel who have been killed, and not the hundreds of civilians who have lost their lives.

"The secretary-general is shocked by the reports of violence and excessive use of force by the Iranian authorities against protesters," Dujarric stated.

Senior US defense officials warned President Donald Trump that more time is needed to prepare for potential strikes on Iran, according to reports.

“We are deeply concerned for the lives of our fellow citizens, our families, and our colleagues and friends who, under these circumstances, have been left defenseless,” said Iranian filmmakers.

Police were called to the location after the suspects, a 45-year-old man from Ramat Gan and a 75-year-old man from Kiryat Tivon, were allegedly seen assaulting one another.
