Israel's CS2 stars - Inside the skin inventories of flameZ and Spinx

Fans on the GlobalOffensive subreddit have asked how a country of under ten million people produces this much Tier-1 talent, and Liquipedia's list of Israeli players keeps getting longer. But pros are also collectors. Here’s what flameZ and Spinx carry in their CS2 inventories, and what those skins cost right now, based on prices from Skinscanner.gg.

Four Israeli players currently compete at the very top of the game:

• flameZ (Shahar Shushan), Team Vitality: Won both the BLAST.tv Austin Major and the StarLadder Budapest Major in 2025, and was ranked #7 in HLTV's Top 20 in 2024 and 2025.
• Spinx (Lotan Giladi), MOUZ: Won the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 with Vitality, then joined MOUZ in January 2025. He peaked at #5 in HLTV's 2023 ranking.
• xertioN (Dorian Berman), MOUZ: A MOUZ player since 2022 and a two-time HLTV Top 20 pick (#14 in 2024, #16 in 2025).
• NertZ (Guy Iluz), G2 Esports: Joined G2 in March 2026 after years as one of the scene's most consistent riflers.

Players like HeavyGod add even more depth.

flameZ's inventory, as listed on his HLTV player profile, is worth roughly $29,700. More than two thirds of that sits in knives and gloves.

The centerpiece is a Factory New M9 Bayonet Doppler Ruby, one of the rarest Doppler phases in the game.

• M9 Bayonet | Doppler Ruby (Factory New): $8,345
• Sport Gloves | Hedge Maze (Field-Tested): $3,880
• Specialist Gloves | Crimson Kimono (Minimal Wear): $2,769
• Butterfly Knife | Fade (Factory New): $2,309
• Driver Gloves | Crimson Weave (Minimal Wear): $1,373
• Karambit | Doppler Phase 1 (Factory New): $1,349

His main rifle is an AK-47 Wild Lotus, a Field-Tested copy valued at $7,428. It is the single most expensive gun skin either player owns.

• M4A4 | Eye of Horus (Factory New): $674
• Desert Eagle | Blaze (Factory New): $644
• M4A1-S | Blue Phosphor (Factory New): $590
• StatTrak USP-S | Kill Confirmed (Field-Tested): $193
• AWP | Asiimov (Field-Tested): $106

Spinx's inventory on his HLTV profile comes to roughly $30,900, just ahead of flameZ. Where flameZ spends on knives, Spinx spreads his value across gloves and rifles.

His top two items are worth more than $15,000 together: a Factory New Karambit Doppler Ruby and a Minimal Wear pair of Sport Gloves Hedge Maze, the same gloves flameZ owns in a cheaper Field-Tested wear.

• Karambit | Doppler Ruby (Factory New): $7,634
• Sport Gloves | Hedge Maze (Minimal Wear): $7,436
• Butterfly Knife | Slaughter (Minimal Wear): $1,273
• M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web (Minimal Wear): $894
• Specialist Gloves | Pillow Punchers (Field-Tested): $400
• Skeleton Knife | Case Hardened (Field-Tested): $242

Spinx owns an M4A4 Howl, the only contraband skin in CS2. It can no longer be unboxed, which keeps supply fixed and prices high.

• AK-47 | Wild Lotus (Well-Worn): $5,500
• M4A4 | Howl (Minimal Wear): $5,428
• M4A1-S | Welcome to the Jungle (Minimal Wear): $1,133
• Desert Eagle | Blaze (Factory New): $632
• StatTrak USP-S | Printstream (Factory New): $247
• AWP | Wildfire (Minimal Wear): $63

It wasn't always this way. Back in 2020, HLTV described “how three players were changing the face of Israeli Counter-Strike”: flameZ, Spinx and anarkez. Israel's local scene was small and unpaid, and 32 months of mandatory military service cut into players' best years.

Instead of building a domestic superteam, the trio skipped local teams and used FACEIT's FPL as a route to Europe. Spinx famously left his base to grind FPL qualifiers. That path became a blueprint for the next generation of Israeli talent, including xertioN.

The prices above come from HLTV and were checked in September 2026. Skin prices move daily and differ a lot between marketplaces. On the day we checked, the cheapest Karambit Doppler Ruby on SkinScanner was listed at about €6,450, well below its HLTV value. Before buying any of these skins, compare offers across marketplaces with a CS2 skin price comparison site like Skinscanner.
