It’s been a deeply emotional weekend as we entered the Jewish New Year and also remembered and honored the victims of 9/11, but let me start by sending many blessings for a sweet, happy, prosperous, and peaceful 5787.
The trumpets sounded throughout the Holy Land, and it was magnificent to experience again. It has such deep and profound spiritual meaning to enter the Jewish New Year.
My prayer is that this new year will be one of peace, health, healing, happiness, prosperity, and success for the brave people of Israel who have endured unimaginable suffering and trauma.
Especially all of our heroic soldiers and security forces who have been through, and are still going through, unimaginable loss, trauma, hardship, and war defending the Jewish Homeland; we embrace all of you.
Every morning I wake up to the sound of lions roaring in Jerusalem, as I currently live close to the zoo.
But our brave warriors are the lions defending Israel. You have my deepest respect and gratitude.
I’m also embracing the thousands of bereaved families who are missing that special loved one brutally murdered in a terror attack, murdered in the October 7 massacre, or soldiers killed defending the Jewish homeland.
You have a special place in my heart, and I’d like to share your stories in this new year.
May God bless Israel and the Jewish people, may this new year be full of unity, hope and peace.
Israel and the Jewish people should just stand proud with your head lifted high and you do whatever you need to do to defend your God-given nation.
I'm proud of Israel, I love Israel and I’ll stand for Israel forever.
A nation that not only survived but is thriving against all odds, Gods own creation and nation. There’s no place like it.
We remember!
25 years ago a new chapter was written, a whole new level of evil was unleashed on earth.
So many families shattered and so many precious people murdered in the brutal terror attack on the twin towers in New York.
I was living in Denmark at the time, and like the rest of the world, I watched as everything unfolded live, with tears running down my face from the horrors that I witnessed on TV.
While most of the world was shocked and mourning, Palestinians was celebrating, and like they do when a Jew is murdered in a terror attack, candy was handed out in the streets in the PA controlled cities celebrating the horrific attack in New York.
In 1991, I visited America for the first time, and I went up in one of the towers, looking out over New York City; it was an amazing, spectacular experience. I remember my ears were affected going up and down in the elevators.
I have a sister and other relatives living in America so this precious nation has a special place in my heart, and now with me living in Israel, I declare: Israel stands with America and America stands with Israel.
Good always conquers evil. Light always defeats darkness.
This weekend we honored and remembered all the victims of the horrific attack on 9/11.
As the world is changing, things are also changing for me as a natural step after faithfully working and serving alone as a volunteer for 12 years, giving my deep love, heart, and soul, giving my all for God and His people.
Most of you have been following me for years on my social media platforms and you have been reading my blogs on The Jerusalem Post and seen the interviews I have done, and read the articles written about my life and work in Israel, so you know exactly who I am, what I'm about and what I have been doing so far for Israel, the fire that is burning inside of me to continue in this new year.
The battle for the truth is ongoing with people looking for voices to get information from.
I stayed 4 months in the Galilee mourning the deaths of family members and getting healing from much trauma from reporting and living through the horrors of intense physical, emotional and spiritual warfare that we went through in Israel.
It was a deeply profound time, along with getting some much-needed rest after moving numerous times over the past several years due to unforeseen circumstances including bad apartments and bad landlords which has been very hurtful.
Plants in the natural can’t produce fruit or flowers if they are continually being uprooted and transplanted. They have to be rooted in the right place to produce; the same goes for me.
I need to be grounded and settled in a long-term apartment by October 31 so I have a foundation and a home filled with peace and tranquility, so I can continue doing the work I am destined to do.
I don't want to merely talk and be another voice among others. I want to be 100% in the center of God's will for my life in Jerusalem while standing with Israel.
Today I'm older, I'm more mature and wiser and I have stepped into a new season in my life standing in a new authority speaking out of Israel.
I want to share the testimonies and stories of all of the incredible people in Israel, the human interest stories that you don’t hear in mainstream media, they need to be told to a world that’s turning more against the Holy Land with so much hatred, disinformation, lies and propaganda.
I wrote about my vision to start a podcast and do more professional news & security updates; you can read all about it here, as I’m seeking donors and sponsors to make this happen.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all the people who have stood with me in prayer, love, support, and encouragement this past year.
Without you, I wouldn’t even be Jerusalem Jane, sharing news from the epicenter of the world, and I need your prayers and support to stay in Israel and continue writing articles and making videos, sharing news, views, and compelling stories and testimonies from Israel and the Jewish people, so I invite you on this journey with me moving forward in this new year.
It’s my honor and privilege to do so.
