A light aircraft crashed in an open area near the community of Eshtaol, near Beit Shemesh, on Saturday, lightly injuring its pilot, a man in his 60s.
Magen David Adom medics and paramedics treated the pilot at the scene.
"We received a report of a light aircraft that crashed in an open area. We arrived at the scene and saw the aircraft among a grove of trees and the pilot walking around," MDA emergency medical technician Shadi Bargiti said.
"We conducted medical examinations on the pilot, and at this stage he is not being evacuated to the hospital."
One injured, one killed after light aircraft crashes in northern Israel
The crash comes after an additional light aircraft crash following a training flight on Friday killed one pilot and injured the other in northern Israel, the Israel Fire and Rescue Authority announced at the time, with the Israel Police blocking Highway 65 as a result.
According to the authority, Hadera station firefighters arrived at the scene and contained a fire that broke out and spread toward nearby homes.
The injured 34-year-old pilot was evacuated to the hospital in moderate condition, while the other pilot died of their injuries after becoming trapped in the aircraft following the crash.
