Staff Sergeant Touvel Yosef Lifshiz was killed in battle while fighting in Lebanon, the IDF announced on Wednesday.
Staff Sergeant Lifshiz, aged 20, from Beit She'an, served in the 13th Battalion in the Golani Brigade.
Lifshiz fell in southern Lebanon.
IDF efforts against Hezbollah continue
As Hezbollah continues to launch waves of drones and rockets at Israeli territory, northern residents spend most of the night in their safe rooms and bomb shelters because of consistent fire.
At its height in fall 2024, Hezbollah was launching around 100-250 rockets or drones against Israel per day.
On March 22, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz instructed the IDF to destroy all bridges over the Litani River.
