The US House Committee on Education and Workforce approved on Thursday three measures aimed at protecting Jewish students and countering the spread of antisemitism in America’s education system.
The No Antisemitism in Education Act, Protect Economic and Academic Freedom Act, and Student Protection and University Accountability Act are all supported by CAM, which regularly engages Capitol Hill lawmakers to educate them on antisemitism-related issues and potential policy remedies.
CAM President of US Affairs Alyza Lewin thanked Committee Chairman Tim Walberg and the sponsoring Congress members – Reps. Randy Fine, Virginia Foxx, Josh Gottheimer, Elise Stefanik, and Laura Gillen for their “exemplary leadership and longstanding commitment to safeguarding Jewish rights.”
