The world of cocktails has long ceased to be just a combination of a spirit and fruit juice. It has turned into an art form where every glass is a story, and every ingredient is a note in a complex creation of flavors, colors, and aromas.

On Salame Street in south Tel Aviv, this philosophy becomes a reality, in a place whose name says it all: The Alchemist, a home for cocktail workshops and festivals.

The Alchemist is not just a place to drink. It is a center of knowledge and alcohol culture, making the secrets of the profession accessible to the general public through experiential cocktail workshops that deconstruct the drink and reassemble it with a creative twist.

The vision of Noam Orr and Liav Peretz, owners of the venue, is to make people happy, to touch hearts, and to create culinary experiences and memories that will accompany their guests for a long time.

Culture, flavors, joy, and community

In the near future, The Alchemist is stepping outside the boundaries of the complex and the single glass, launching a series of four festivals nationwide in collaboration with the beverage importer Hakerem (Stolichnaya Vodka, Bushmills Whiskey, Jose Cuervo Tequila, and more).

The decision on multiple locations (Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, and Beersheba) came following demand from the public who used to attend the events held over the past three years in Tel Aviv alone.

Each of the four events will present a rich and colorful world of content, in design, appearance, substance, and cocktails, with the main intention being to make the audience happy and allow an escape from reality for a few hours without worries.

First we take Tel Aviv

The first festival in the series will be held at the L1 venue in Tel Aviv, in an Alice In Wonderland edition. The festival spaces will turn into a surreal kingdom that will include giant mushrooms, Mad Hatter tea parties, field characters, and a psychedelic cocktail menu.

The festival will include more than 10 performances, mixology workshops, a culinary area, a VIP compound, and more. During the last two hours of each day, the festival will turn into a music festival on two separate stages.

The entry ticket to the festival, at an average cost of NIS 180, includes a tasting of 22 cocktails that will be served at 20 bars, a cocktail glass, a bottle of water, a special gift, and entry to the festival's closing party at the end of each day, for which tickets must be purchased separately.
