Being a business in Israel is a complicated thing, especially if it is businesses based on vacation and leisure, and all the more so for hotels. And especially in Eilat.

Strange times, not to say depressing, have passed over the Israeli resort city in recent years. In the past two and a half years, Eilat (like all of us) has been subjected to barrages of Yemeni missiles that disturbed its desert tranquility. In the last war, the city served as the last refuge for people who wanted to get some air, families with children who wanted to sleep a full night, and it even served as a transit station for those who sought to board a plane, even at the cost of passing through Jordan or Egypt.

We were among those getting some air. The chosen hotel was EVE Eilat, a hotel that opened only four months ago and is located where the Brown Hotel used to be in the city center. The hotel belongs to a new hotel chain called ADAM Hotels that owns another hotel in Eilat (Adam Boutique – a hotel for couples) and two more hotels in Tel Aviv (Fiore 41 in Tel Aviv and Hotel 1935 in Tel Aviv).

Location and rooms

Despite the initial concern about the location (mainly because it is not located on the seashore), it turned out to be quite successful. A few minutes' walk from the shopping center and the promenade, but far enough so that there are businesses nearby with local prices and not tourist prices. Many of those who stayed with us at the hotel shopped at the nearby supermarket and thus saved a lot of money on meals and snacks.

The hotel has about 150 rooms, including 3 suites and 15 spacious family rooms. The rest of the hotel rooms are suitable for a composition of a couple + 2.

We were in a family room with a composition of a couple and two children. The room was indeed spacious compared to hotel rooms we have been in. It was furnished according to the ceremony rules of family hotels in Israel, and included a sitting area, a small kitchenette, a standard shower, one bed for the parents and another sofa that opens into a bed for the children. In addition, the room had a balcony overlooking the city, as well as the alley of the nearby food businesses.

Facilities

You might expect that a family hotel that is priced not high and is located in the city center would not have a pool, but let us surprise you – it does! And a fairly large one, including a toddlers' pool.

In addition, the hotel has a gaming room (most of it is paid and that is a bummer) and a playroom for little ones, a dry sauna and two treatment rooms that we did not try.

Food

The stay at the hotel includes a fairly standard breakfast in terms of breakfasts in Israel. It is not a luxurious or extremely indulgent meal, but it is generous and varied and will satisfy all family members.

The meal includes a salad bar, cheeses, some fish, breads and other carbohydrates, yogurts and several types of eggs. As mentioned, nothing you have not seen before – but filling, clean and generous.

Value for price

In the title we wrote fair, and indeed the price here compared to other hotels we checked allows a family with two children, and even three, to go on a vacation for a few days without being severely disappointed by the price.

So how much does it cost?

Midweek:
A night for a couple, including breakfast starting from NIS 600.
A couple and two children starting from NIS 900.

Weekend:
A couple starting from NIS 800 per night, including breakfast.
A couple and two children starting from NIS 1,100 per night, including breakfast.

During May and June, the chain offers a third night free – on selected dates, as well as a 20% discount that is valid for Shavuot for bookings between the dates 1/5/2026–30/5/2026.
